need to locate lighter fuse for vt

ive got a vt ex cop car and when i went to plug my gps in to the lighter i realised it seems to never have been used, im assuming its because the lighter fuse was never put in to prevent cops and whoever drove it after that (as a goverment car) from smoking in the car. i need to know what ampage fuse i need and in exactly which slot it goes. cheers

There is a diagram on the drop down door thingy under your steering column. It tells you what amp fuses go in which slots.

no worries, found it and it turns out there is already a fuse there, havnt checked if its blown though as i get paranoid if i dont disconnect battery terminal so itll have to wait till i get home, the actual cigarette lighter is loose from the dash but all wiring seems to be correct and not loose. if the fuse in NOT blown any ideas as to why it wont work keeping in mind as mentioned earlier it looks to have never been used before. cheers
