VT SV6 starting problems

Hi all. I've recently purchase a VT series2 SPak Supercharged, On occasions I'm having trouble starting. There seems to be plently of spark and grunt from the battery, it seems that it floods after 2 or 3 cranks and you get a smell of petrol, then when you floor the accelerator it will fire up. This can happen when the car is hot or cold, but not all the time. Any ideas would be great.

I had a similar problem but mine was only when warm/hot. It would take a bit to turn over, start when u touch accelerator and then idle rough for a bit. Turned out to be my crank angle sensor?! But ur's could be a number of things i guess.

Is it on gas?

Car is not on gas, I run standard unleaded. gb
