Hi there I recently went into JAX quickfit tyres to get a quote done on my suspension as it was making a clunking noise every now and then in the rear (when I went over bumps) they said the rear noise was to do with the diff and was nothing they could diagnose.
I got them to replace some bushes + install whiteline front and rear swaybars but now the rear noise is happening on nearly every bump and when I go to get into my driveway it has a weird noise in the rear left hand side like a clunk clunk clunk like something is slipping in the diff it also done it when the handbrake was on but in gear anybody have any ideas is the diff stuffed or on it's way out does it need topping up ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT.
BTW Jax done a great job on my car I will definitely go back to the Tuggeranong store again.
Cheers Glenn.
Possible the the CV shafts bolts have come loose. If your really worried then take it to a diff joint. Or just use this as an excuse to upgrade the diff.

try changing the diff oil. make sure the oil has the anti slip additive or buy some separate.
Thanks mate I was thinking CV joints but wasn't sure I am going to book it in but I don't get paid till next Friday so no rush as I have no money but I was thinking of upgrading to an LSD with a 3.45 ratio maybe just maybe.
Cheers Glenn.
