How to up the performance? VU ecotec

Gday ,
Ive got a 2001 VU six manual and am currently looking to up the power a bit. Ive got an exhaust kit on it now, but am thinking of little things all round which are going to push the power up. im on red p's. The car is also insured in my name, making it tough to do any big perfomance mods on my ute.

Has anyone got any ideas that are gonna help?
