VT Brake/Reverse Lights
Is it possible to have reverse lights wired into the brake lights so i can paint the whole vt garnish and still have reverse lights?
dont really want to go to vx garnish.
Yeah, if you buy some of the Altezza style tail lights of ebay they have the reverse lights in them, so you can paint the Vt garnish a solid colour. There are a few posts on here somewhere if you do a search for garnish or something similar. You will also have to change the wiring slightly to take into account that the reverse lights are now in the tail light, not in the garnish. Simple fix though.

Hey, I bought a VT executive series 1 2-3 weeks ago and have realised the reverse lights are not working. The tailights that are on there currently are the altezzas that look like the monaro taillights. Any advice?

I have a Vt SS commodore and I hate the rear lights as well. So I bought a garnish off a VX commodore, was a straight fit, was no messing around. I installed monaro tail lights but the globe fittings will not fit so had to custom order a wiring harness from Holden. It's alotta mucking around, but keep in mind that VT tail lights have there reverse signals on the boot only, so to have reverse lights you'll have to buy a set of tail lights that have a spot for reverse lights opposed from the VT only having stop and turn signals.

if they are genuine monaro only one reverse light will work, the other one will need to be wired in, maybe that one has blown?
