Hey guys,
Been thinking about selling my car so i can get a 4x4, i'm wondering what sort of $$$ i would be looking at letting it go for?
1999 VTII Exec
4sp Auto V6
Duel Fuel LPG
220,XXXkm
Aftermarket Clubsport Bodykit
Aftermarket Exhaust system
Aftermarket springs/shockers (lowered)
Pioneer Head unit
Mag wheels 225/50/R17 94W
Rego until June
Serviced approx 1500km's ago
Recently done:
- New radiator and hoses
- New radius rod bushes
- New brake pads
- New battery
- Transmission Service - I'm getting this done next week
Needs:
- Rear shockers, probably should be done in the next month or so. bit of noise in the rear when going over bumps at the moment
- The box thing that holds the power steering fluid is leaking a tiny bit, i've just been topping it up a little bit every few months.
- Front sway bar link bushes, slight creaking when turning sometimes, not very often though.
- Could probably use a cut and polish. also theres a crack in the front spoiler when i bought it, theres a close up photo of it.

Sorry to tell you mate, but not much. Id give you around $6k for it. Not much more
It's a shame for anyone trying to sell their VT's, the ass is falling out of the price. With the launch of the VF they will be worth even less come years end. I agree with sxc_sound, 6ish.
about 6gs i am having a hard time selling my gen3 vt ss for 9500
yeah but no one wants V8s any more due to fuel prices
Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated
It's a sad but true story that all the extras and all the things you have fixed don't mean a real lot to some buyers; they expect all those things in the (low) price. The astute person can see the value in what you've done and maybe will offer about the figure mentioned previously.
