If its the bar im thinking it is, you have to cut out the old grill. If your wanting to do somthing like so---

Its pretty easy. Just grind out the fins in the middle. and insert some mesh.

Unless your grill is removable, then just wack in a chrome grill or manta grill or somthing

What did you use to cut out the standard platic part of your grill? And what did you use to get all the edges so smooth before you sprayed it silver? Thats the exact look I want on my VU

Well firstly to cut the fins out i just used a jig saw. which was kinda dodgy lol, But you can use a dremel tool or grinder etc

Once the fins are cut off you will still have around 1cm on every fin because you wont be able to grind right next to the edge as they are curved. So i whipped out a small mouse sander and went to town on it.

This isnt much use to anyone but i have 1 for sale :P my second one broke as i didn't tighten it on and it snapped off while i was driving at 110km/h lol

im pretty sure you cant do that on a VX because the grills are apart off the front bumper unlike the VT in the pic
