Anyone have VE rims on their car?

Hey everyone. Just joined up so first time poster. Been having a look through and ther seems to be heaps of info on this site. Glad I found it! lol
Just wondering if anyone else here has VE rims on their car? I have a 2001 VU and I have just aquired a set of VE SV6 18'' wheels for practically nothing that I wanna put on my ute. I know I have to get the wheels machined out by 5mm to fit as the VE centres are smaller then previous models (Im getting this done at a local engineering place this week) but was just wondering if anyone else on here has done the same swapover. If so did you use spacers when you put them on as well? And if so what mm spacers did you use?

yeah mate heaps of people do it, no spacers needed the only thing that needs to be done is have the centers machined as you said, you wanna make sure they get machined to a perfect fit, you dont want them loose on the hub...

Ahh sweet. Thanks for your quick reply mate. Yeah Im gonna hoist my ute up tomorrow and get the exact measurements I need to get them machined to so they are a neat fit
