VT Commodore on superlows?

Hey guys
i've got a vt commodore on 17inch rims and i wanna lower it, i was either going to go superlows all round or superlows in the front and super super lows in the back

Any advice on what would sit good, i just dont want it to rub

if you dont want it to rub i wouldnt go with super-super lows

I have a set of 18"s with 235/40/R18 Tyres

And its on king spring super lows with no rubbing and no alterations to the gaurds etc. IMO dont do ssl in the rear as it wont sit level

i'd probly go super super lows at the front and super lows at the rear , cause they'll go well, hight wise with the 17"s, the s-pacs' have also got the rear camber kit and the rears appears lower then normal,
you probly wonna make sure that your shocks have good travel as well, i've seen vts and vxs, where the shockys mounts bottom out on like pot holes or speed bumps and the weld of the mounts come apart.

um? yes it will be that low on sl lol... my car is on sl. lowest point on my car is 102mm, being on the border of legal. So i don't see anyone wanting to go lower. Unless they want a defect

Hey all,

Would VT/VX Wagon springs and shocks fit on standard sedans or SS's?

Guy is selling a set of Ultra Low king springs, Monroe GT Sports Shocks and 2pce Coil Spring Compressor Set bearing strut spacer kit (which i'm honestly not too sure what that does at the moment)

I'm guessing though, if the super super lows are too low and illegal on the VT's. these would just scream 'DEFECT ME!'

hey guys im new on here an i was just lookin for help with my springs i just put super lows in the front and the top of the strut like the part u see in the engine bay is sittin up like 10mm an not even touching the body ... what would cause this and how to i fix it im stressin :P

Hey man I had super super lows on the back but i got dinged for em so now i got super low pedders and low pedders at the front. sits like a beauty I think, but I do miss how low it was

I'm running SL lovells springs. have kings in the VP. and i must say i love these lovells springs.

Also. i had SSL lovells on the rear before deciding SL looked better. it wasn't that i was against the SSL rear height. it looked stupid with the front on SL.

i have pedders equivalent of SL in the front an SSL in the rear on 19s nothing scrubs (not even at full lock) an it sits dead level (center cap to guard height is 330mm all round) but i am thinking of putting SSL front an SSSL rear because low is never low enough .

Agreed. My VT had ssl and it got defected. had to put standards in to get the defect off.

this is my vt with king springs in it. not too sure if they are super super lows or not?
but yeah there is no scrubbing with them and i have 17' rims.
