Default vt auto power button and front hub Q's

i have a vt executive auto 199 etc...

anyway when i push the power buttonnothing happens...like the light does com on but the gear box dont change the revs or anything it just stays teh same.

also how can i tell if teh front hubs need replaceing, wen im going round a bend (mainly a left bend) theres a whooping sound from teh front could this be worn hub bearings? if so how do i know which side??

    cheers

Pressing the power button doesn't change the revs when it's pressed but it will change gear at higher revs.

Thats sounds a bout right mines just a tad under at around 1800rpm aprox wat ur gettin neways and at 110 just under 2000rpm. The power button basically revs out n holds the gear its in 4 longer ay, its really only good 4 towing so u dont get the sudden gear changes wen u dont need them...

Speak 2 greenfoam on this forum since urs is a VT u can get the gears changed via the memcal if thats wat ur after??
