vt commodore replace shocks?

I wanna lower my vt commodore on superlows all round
normally everyone replaces there shocks as i've been told
Do u really have to straight away?

You dont have to if you dont want but it would be better for grip,and tyre wear

also be mucheasier to do them while your there, this is more for the front.
If your doing them yourself wont be so bad if your happy to pretty much do the job twice but if your getting a mechanic to do them youl just get charged twice for labour.
Rears are not such a biggie though.
