    Question Vt wagon rear middle seat belt???????????????????????

    Hi there
    My rear middle seat belt is jamed vt wagon
    I have been to heaps of wreckers... All have same problem
    So this is a common problem???
    Has anyone ever fixed this befor???
    Any links any comments more than welcome

    Hi

    Had the same problem when i first bought my VT wagon.
    You can replace with a new seatbelt from holdens, lots of $$ or find a complete rear seat back panel which i did and replaced.
    Was a bitch of a job though.
    Also wreckers can't sell just the used belt under law for safety.

    Hi,
    I remember fixing a mates seat belt in his wagon cos it jammed when he folded down the seat. There is a post about how to fix this on the forum somewhere, if it is the same type of jam. I think it was something like pulling out the bottom of the seat (where your butt goes) and undoing the bolt that holds the latch in place. This took pressure off the mechanism and allowed it to move freely again.
    Don't know if this helps but thought it was worth a mention.

    Yeh i have tryed removing the bottom bolt where seat belt connects to
    And tryed wiggling it free but its fully jamed up

    I also looked behind the seat where the belt goes its all i fixed unit

    Thanks for your help If you remember anything eles that you did??

    Hmmm, sounds like a bad jam. (like marmalade lol) If releasing the bottom of the belt didn't help I'm not sure what else you can do sorry.

    Wreckers can sell the used seat belt.. they make alot of money off them too.. there is no law against doing so..
