Power window keeps popping out of regulator

Hi i have a VT commodore with power windows and i have a problem with the drivers window.
When i go to wind in down it doesnt even get half way and pops out of the regulator then just
drops to the bottom of the door.

So i proceed to take off trim pop the window back into those white sliders then wind it up while pushing the regulator into the window so it doesnt pop out.

Do i need to replace the regulator? or maybe those white sliders the window pops into?
Anyone had this problem?

Probably just need to replace the sliders because they wear out. They are only about $3-4 each.

Yeah, I'd replace the white sliders. Had to do it a couple of times in my VT now. They usually crack in half on mine though. They are nice and tight when they are new so there is no chance of em popping off again.

If you can just pop them in with your hand then they are worn out . When i replaced mine i had to use a small clamp to get them to seat right in the hole or they just pop out again .

Yeah, Ive had to use a G clamp before to get the new ones on. Last time I used a really nice pair of multi grips with plenty of leverage to pop them on.
