    Lightbulb HOSE Blow out

Ok so yesterday i was driving along could smell coolant so i pull over to find a blown radiator hose ,great out in the middle of no where as i live in the sticks ,grab the mobile no service hmm not good so i look in my boot i find some duct tap ,ok i will give it a go and try to fix this as you can see its not a little hole so i tap it up and i am lucky i had water in my car ,So i let the car sit for about 2 hours and i sit and wait ,didnt want to crack a head .so now the car is cool i added the water and did the radiator cap up just the first click not fully on didnt want to much preasure build up ,home is 26 kms away so everything looks good i drive straight home the temp is good its not going above the normal range .It got me home yes there was a bit of water coming out but i made it so just letting people know it can be done to get you out of trouble ...still love my holden

A couple of spare hoses is an alternative to tape lol, but then really you'd be carrying top/bottom hoses, heater hoses, etc. Maybe some spare power steering hoses? Transmission cooler pipes? Etc, Etc, Etc..........
