Default how low should i go?

    Evening Ladies and Gents q

I just scored a set of Rodney Jane Fate alloy rims because I had to make a swap from my previous set (weapons) for the clear coat was pealing off. Since Bob Jane don't make'em anymore i chose these instead

I think it's time get the girl lowered, drop her down a bit.

I was thinking SSL Kingsprings at the rear and SL at the front? or even SL at rear and L at front. Not too sure....How much for new? I was actually planning on getting 2nd hand ones if that is safe..??

    Please give me your oppinion.

ALSO, when buying new springs, are you required to replace other parts in the suspension like the struts etc?

    Thanks heaps everyone

    Kind regards,
    Joe

I'd recommend no lower than 100 mm when fully laiden and/or no less than 2/3 the original suspension travel.

    Thanks guys,

Well to be honest I'm not a hoon, like i don't go around doing burnouts and stuff even though it is a manual

But I think i like the 'all round' look, but the SSL at the rear look real nice as well...such a hard choice lol.

Anyone have any photo's of what their car looks like with SL all round OR SSL at rear and SL at front??

    cheers,
    Joe

I have SSL in the rear and SL in the front of my VT drops it to a wicked height, the rear does bottom out if you're not careful but if you go over spoon drains etc. carefully it doesnt bottom out at all.

for looks id say ultras all round, although, id recomend superlows all round with shortened shocks, you keep a comfy ride, and a better look than standard height, and ultralows will get cop attention like i did . honestly go supers, its not worth the $300/unroadworthy fine for only 2 inches really. being too low is a major defect.

Ashes to ashes and dust to dust, if it weren't for Fords our tools would rust.
