console compartment

Brought a console compartment lid catch for my vt so i could close the lid, when i pulled out the compartment assembly the new catch wouldn't fit. Had a completly different catch assembly,insted of the push in catch, it had a white plastic cam type setup to hold and release the lid. What the hell is that ? Tryed to find out how to fix it, but nobody knows what i'm talking about, all i've heard is there is only one type of compartment assembly obviosly not true. Anybody seen one like that.

Yep i know what you mean, i was looking for that clip and came across this different assembly as you have said. I don't know who you went through but maybe try elsewhere, somewhere that knows what they are talking about.

The genuine part number is 92103515 It just says on the packet LATCH-STORAGE C 92103515
