New/replacement remote key heads

I have purchased new key heads (over a year ago) from a locksmith, they have been coded and are ready to be swapped over. I have 2 keys, I swapped one over but have never swapped my spare key over. Originally when i swapped the first key over i got a piece of paper that had some sequence like unock car swap key head start car lock car or something like that. I have lost the piece of paper and was wondering if anyone knows what that sequence is and/or if it neccessary? Can I just swap the key head over and it work?

have you had the actual remotes programmed to the car? if so, i think it should be fine... but better wait and see if anyone with abit more knowledge can help you.

i'm pretty sure its,
unlock the car with the current key
start the car with the new key
switch off and lock with the new key

Got mine a few weeks back

1. Open/unlock with old key
2.get in and manually push down locks
3.start car with new key and run for 60 seconds
4.turn off and it should unlock with new key
