2.5 inch exhaust on vx v6 I'm confused
my new/first commo v6's only mod that i know of is a 2.5 inch exhaust and I've had 2 different opinions about it and i just wanted clarification,
1 is its good for airflow
the other is it takes power from the engine and makes the car sound boggy
who's right and what should i do to make it preform at it's best

If you think adding an exhaust will make the faster and more powerful, you're wrong, maybe a tiny fraction but not anything huge. If you just want it louder then go for it.
It won't take power away from the engine though. Just put one muffler and a rear resonator on, quite common.

Compulsive.
Proper exhaust systems really only become usefull when internal engine mods are performed ie. cam, rockers etc.
They will provide a slight improvement over stock but nothing noticeable. They are put on to change the sound of the engine.
