Default CV6 Monaro taking off supercharger

Hey guys, i know i probably shouldnt post this here, but you're all a wealth of knowledge, im sure that you'd be able to tell me how plausible it is to simply 'take off' the supercharger from a CV6 ? If so, what else would need to happen, or if not, why is it not possible?
any help greatly appreciated, thanks guys !

Would need, different manifold and plenum chamber, different injectors, L36 ECU and loom, ECU matched to BCM. I'm sure I've forgotten stuff, but not worth it. Are you on L's or P's?

It wouldn't run the best as the L67 had a lower compressor ratio compare to the normal ecotech engine

Usually for someone on P's or L's. They ope to replace it later when they have their opens.

Yeah I agree. Slot L36 in, wire up, and when you get opens, rip out, slot L67 in and sell L36 for some money back.

Remove the rotor pack from the blower case and use a blanking plate to cover the hole (you can get these from ZZP Performance in the USA) then have your ECU re-flashed with an standard ECOTEC tune.
You will find that the engine will be down a little on power compared to a normal ECOTEC as your compression ratio is a little lower.
If you are serious about doing it, contact someone like Greenfoam when you want the chip done and get him to add a little more timing to it, so you get a bit more go from it.
Depending on the tune that is used you may have to change the injectors back to stock L36 ones. You can get these for next to nothing.
The blower plate is $49.00 USD, I am not sure what Greenfoam would charge for a chip. The whole process would take less than an hour to do.
When you are ready to go back to boosted goodness, just reverse the process and away you go.

If the OP really is doing this for L or P plates then a blocking plate won't work. Cop will see supercharger and then issue fine/tow car.

I can kind of see where you are going but it is not like disconnecting the belt. The whole internals are gone which means that it is not supercharged.
With the blank off plate in place and the standard engine cover on, you would be hard pressed to know that it was a L67, unless you are up on that kind of thing.
If you did get caught you would just have to present the car and there should be no problems, but each to their own.

Traffic Police up here with us are very good with cars. No reason other states wouldn't be.

I still reckon slot an Ecotec in.
