    Default King Springs for VX

    Hey guys, i know this has probably been discussed 100 times over but none of it really answers my question.
    I want to know what the factory height from ground to skirt is on a VX and what King Springs bring my car closest to the lowest legal limit (100mm)?
    My mate has SSL in back and SSSL in front apparently, but when i emailed king springs they said i should get King Springs Part No's KHFL-47SL (front) & KHRL-46HD (rear). I told them about my mate and his VT and they said getting those springs would lower it too low but im not 100 percent sure.
    Also do i have to buy shocks? and would i need a camber kit?
    can someone please help me out.

    cmon guys all i want to know is what the standard height of a vx is between the side skirt and ground and what type of front and rear springs i should get to have it lowered to the best legal height???!!

    Hi dunno about side skirt height but would look at some king springs superlow, they should keep it legal, also do a search on google for their catalogue and have a look at that, hth cheers Bob. ps, you will need to upgrade shocks and struts as well.

    yeah no clue on stock heights

    but if you car lowing it that low deffs go for shorter shocks

    get in touch with gsl rallysport in the sponsors sections, he does a pretty good deal

    and yeah camber kit will be a must if you plan on running on a decent set of rubber and keeping them for longer then 10k

    The part numbers that King quoted you are for Super Lows and would bring the car down to just about closest to legal level as you can get.

    sorry to hijack here but i have a vx and planing to lower it to, but was wondering why people put lower springs in the back then the front???? like sl front ssl rear???

    depends some cars can pull the lower ass end off and some can't cars with big wheels and body kits have a phat look when done like that. its illegal but so be careful when doing it. that's why i am going for bags in mine.

    haha thanx guys. Gosh but i cant afford all of the shocks and other stuff to go with lower springs atm hmmm... i look at their catalog and its all messed up a lot of it is blacked out..? ahhhh what to do..
