The sign on the side of the VY seats says (GMH VX SIAB MODULE) aka side impact airbag , im wondering if i dont plug that into my vt will that affect my main airbag system? as im sure the vt does not have SIAB(Side impact airbag)

if you plug it in you will likely encounter more problems than if you don't :P
do the vy seats have the power foward and back movement? i know the vx calais did
    just my opinion

SIAB in a vt are seperate to seat electrics. You can plug in the seat electrics without risk.

If your new seats have SIAB and your old ones didnt, there wont be a witring harness to use them. From memory, in a VT the seat connector is seperate to the SIAB connector.

If you dont hook up the new seats airbags, it wont cause any troubles - assuming your old seats didnt have them. If your old seats did, and the new seats have a different connection - not hooking them up will cause a rising 3 beep sequence to sound in the dash - repeated 3 times - at start up, and your airbag light will come on. All other airbags will still function. If you pay someone to disable the seat airbags and they do it wrong it WILL disable all the airbags. You have to reduce the number of active airbags, not disable any airbags.
