Default My VT had got sluggish while driving then loss of power...?

I brought a 1997 VT Commodore 2 weeks ago. I've already brought a new fuel pump, fuel filter, air flow
meter and new spark plugs. I thought there shouldnt be anymore problems until yesterday while driving, all of a sudden the accelerator got sluggish and loss of power then died, tried to jump start it but the battery got too flat. would it be the fuel regulator?....
