How you goin people? Ive recently brought a VT II ACCLAIM which was originally a V6 but is now a V8 5L i have all reciepts for the conversion done at Holden from previous owner, i was wondering whether or not i need an engineer certificate to register it as a V8, ive been told no because VT's came out in V8 aswell as V6 is this correct? Any info on this subject would be apprieciated, thanks
hey, i converted my vt6 to ls1, i needed a mod plate in qld, your vin number was redgisted a 6? could have problem there, its a modafication as far as there concerned. wat did ya mate just redgistar it as a six? had he redgistared it before you got it? if not why not? i would imagine it would be very expensive for holden to convert it somewere well over $10000?? sounds a bit far fetched to me!! why would he pay holden to do it lol??? and then not even get it redgistared as a 8?? your game buying it!!! bloody crazy!!! why would you want a 5ltr anyway there cheap as. "holden where i come from would have said buy a original 5ltr v8. would of bin the most sensible thing to do...
I would ask the transport department in your state if you need a mod plate or not... im wondering why holden didn get that done when they converted it if necessary...
