205 x 65 r15 95h tyres on 8 inch rims?

title says it all. is there any reason I should not fit 205s to 8 inch rims? 205mm = 8.07 inches so width is the same or close enough

would be stretched, 205's on a 7" rim have a straight sidewall.... I would probably got 225-235 minimum on an 8 inch

According to the Tyre & Rim Association of Australia you can only go MAX 7.5" with a 205/65R15. That's not to say you won't get it to bead out on the wider rim.

You need a 225/60R15 which has a MAX of 8".
