Hi guys,
For some reason I remember hearing somewhere that VT Series 1 cars have different regulators to VT Series 2 and on.
I personally wouldn't have thought this was the case but I'm just after someone who can clarify for me. If they are different, is it mechanically (i.e. they mount and operate differently) or electrical (i.e. different plugs).
Cheers for your help!

I'm pretty sure they are the same but the door looms are different which is what you might be confused with.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
Yeah they all supersede to a VZ part number now, so they are all identical.
Whoever said 'There is no substitute for cubes' had obviously never heard of Jet power
If your talking elec windows i'm pretty sure they are different or atleast vx s2 are, the tracks run straight up and down instead of the x type arms
Hrmm well the loom being different isn't too much of a drama because I can cut and solder to make it work. I have a VT series 1 wagon and a VT series 2 wagon which are both written off and I will be making one car from to use for a work car. The series 2 has electrics and the series 1 has the perfect structure so I wanted to do a swap. I have the door trims off the S1 and they do look like they're mounted differently to my VX S2 but maybe I should compare the VT S2.
If Shortstuff says they all supercede to a VZ number then maybe they are the same just mounted differently. The VT S1 already has a MID level BCM so it should have the wiring harnesses already to the door pillars I believe.
