Default adjusting revs and special mode on the cluster

    hey
i was wondering if anyone knew how to adjust the idle revs because my car is idleing way to low and is really rough

also i was wondering how to get the different mode on the cluster because my mate has a VT 99' and he can make his cluster show different stats like digital speed and litrs left in the tank by pressing mode up but it doesnt seem to work in my car

does anyone know???????? either answer would be greatly appreciated

    cheers

Hold the mode and up buttons, turn the ignition on and release the buttons, then press mode to scroll through the various options.
the idle can't be adjusted so you might want to look at the IAC valve which could be causing the problem. Sometimes cleaning the IAC valve can fix tew problem. Also a vacuum leak can cause poor idle.

Cleaning the IAC valve is simply a matter of undoing 2 screws, unplugging the wiring connector, removing the IAC valve and cleaning it with throttle body cleaner or carby cleaner. The purge hose should be simple to replace if necessary, just check to see that it hasn't come off.
