help!! vt makes nosie when driving :(

hey i was jst wondering if any1 can help me i got a prob wit my vt calais 1998 v6 wen i put my foot on the accelerator it makes this nosie like someone is running their sharp nails along a blackboard that squial nosie and i dnt noe wat it is so if any1 can help it wud be much gratefull

Perhaps a noisy drive belt or a pulley bearing. Have a listen around the front area of the engine with it running and accelerating.

yer it is soming from the front end mainly on the drivers side of it

does it do it in gear and nuetral?
most probably the belt and/or pulleys or if just when driving stone stuck in the caliper
