vt driver door making noise

i have another problem wit my drivers side door. wen i open and close it, it makes a loud grating noise , i have already put wd40 spray on it and it still no good jt wondering wat i have to do

i have the same prob, but on my right rear passanger door, tried spraying it also and didnt work :S

You probably both need to replace the check strap, which is the thing that stops the door from opening all the way.

Yep that's what it will be. Though when I tried to fix it the other day, something broke, now it won't stay open by itself

oh k then kool thanks for that i thought it wud be something to do wit the bolts or something lol but thanks for that guys

on mine the check strap bolts were loose, so i just tightened them again and it was good as new

door check straps need to be greased, not WD40'd
