vt series 1 bcm and series 2 bcm are the compatable

Hi Guys just wondering if any one has done a bcm swap and used a different bcm to what they had.
I am wanting to know wiether you can use a vt series 2 bcm in a series 1 vt as i am in the middle of eletcric window conversion and climate control conversion. If any one knows drop me a post.

Hi mate, as far as i'm aware you will be able to use it as long as you get it matched to the ecu. anyone with tech 2 should be able to do that for you. i put a vx berlina climate control, power windows, variable speed wipers, etc setup in my series 1 vt and used the bcm out of the berlina. cost me $30 to get em matched and it works a treat.
