rear centre seat fold down button broken?

the button that you press to fold the center rear seat forward to access the boot has been pushed in, i thought the button was pulled off but it has been pushed into the seat.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

mine is broken too...

ive had a look at how they are put into the seat and i cant work out how to remove them and replace them.. only way i see it is to replace the whole center piece with a good one.

or just make a new button out of ABS plastic, mould the back of it with a soldiering iron then glue it on to the original rod.

Don't think you can fix the lock if it is broken. Thought mine was broken, but just punched the seat below the lock and forced it to lock.

yeah my button is broken but the lock works sweet
my problem is the wire it has pushed through the button.

seems i'll have to fabricate something up.

i have the same problem as you.. just remove whats left inside with some long nose pliers and make a new button... not that hard.
