not sure what i've done- swap't exhaust but it dont sound like a normal droning v6.
sorry, another question. i've just put a hsv twin 2.25 ' exhaust on my vt l67 , but since changing it sounds like its off beat , almost like its missing but it has not lost any power, gained it if anything. its twin right thru with 1 h-pipe. not sure if its a normal sound for a v6 with twin right the way thru and with no x-pipe or no 2into1 section. got me stuffed cause never herd anything like it befor, is that just the way a v6 fires separately down each side of exhaust or something? mayb
any chance of you putting up a vid so we can hear it cant really tell without hearing it

Maybe because it's a 2.5". Can't say that i have heard what the 2.25" system sounds like on the L67
But i know what the 2.5" sounds like with no rear muffler......

That actually sounds pretty ****ing awesome haha..... Is it the L67 making it sound that bit different? Or what? I've got an SPAC, But it's just a V6, No super charger, Could I get a system sounding like that? Or does the supercharger help with the sound or not? I can't really help with your problem or wondering why it sounds like that, But I like it!
If It would sound almost the same, What price would i be looking at from an exhaust place? I know a normal catback system costs $250 ish in my area... But I want something a LITTLE different, I want your system! Could they do it? Any other info on your system ??
I want something a LITTLE different than the standard 2 and a half inch lukey exhausts, they all sound the same, But I like this...

think its real hard cause of petrol tank being to one side, not enough room i think. thats why they all are single or twin coming out the one side.

^^^ sounds about right and the sway bar is not shaped to allow another exhaust on the other side so it would have to hang under all that stuff which would make it hang too low.
from inside the car it sounds pretty good imo but from outside i thought it sounded a bit off, mine is opposite to yours i reckon, from the inside it sounds like poo but the outside it sounds good but i guess i also need to hear yours in person to have a good opinion.
also i got my boost gauge in the same spot

sold the twin 2.5 cause was embarrassed to drive it, the slower ya drove the louder it was and more droooone it had. had front and rear mufflers but was still too loud. was only a xforce thou.

Yeah I wouldn't like something that drones all too much, And nothing too loud, Don't want to sound like one of those ricers.... well it dont quite sound the same anymore, spewing. i put the rear pipes on and its changed the sound a bit, (well the sound i can hear in the car anyway). must have just sounded weird from ecoing under the car or something cause of it being dump't at the diff..
That sounds phenomenal! My only problem is I am too old and it would give me a headache on a drive to Brisbane.

ahaahahahaa give it a rev next time lol, were you holding it flat to the floor and it was cutting out or were ya just bashing the throttle repetitively .
i have a 2.5 redback system in mine, i would say thats throttle bashing lol. Sounds horrible inside the car though.
a very drunk night and having no respect for the car that night, just holding it flat on limiter, its bad i know, but car has done another 100,000km since then and still going strong so dont really care
