Hi all,

One of the back bars in my front drivers side broke recently and whilst my girlfriend was having it serviced, the mechanic offered to pick up a set of second hand seats from a wreckers. I have removed/re-installed this seat once before to repair the electric seat function so I thought it would be this easy again. I have just tried to swap them over realising that the seats my mechanic picked up don't have the seat buckles attached.

What type of hand tool do I need to remove this from the seat and install on the new (second hand) seats?

Also, is this something that is okay to do? The car has never been in a major accident etc.

Hope you can help as I'm currently driving this with a partially broken seat and its not filling me with much confidence.
