VT Power Steering Issue - Loose?

Hi Guys,

My VT has been still for about the last month and i just went to drive it for the first time since and the steering is REALLY loose, it feels really light and weird...checked hoses/fluids and it seems all fine..what could it be??

ALso the handbrake is really loose?light as well feels like there is no tension in it.

Since you haven't driven it for a month then you may have forgotten how it felt before, especially if you have been driving something else in the meantime. The steering should be light since it is a Calais and has speed sensitive steering. As for the looseness in the steering, check the tie rod ends.

I just spent 4 mths driving an xr6. Got back into my car and it feels like the steering wheel is going to fall off. When I first got into the xr6, it felt tIght. I think the VT steering just loosens over time or they were made like that. My bros is loose too.
