VT Passenger door not opening with central locking!

Hi recently bought a vt calais the passenger door lock only opens half way and sometimes doesnt shut anyone know how to fix this. I have already taken the door trim of.

my vt calais has the same problem only slightly different and that is i cannot get the button to go all the way up so i cant even see the clip meaning i cant get the door card off

Same thing happens to mine after heavy rain just spray the crap out of it with some wd40 or silocone spray move it up and down bout twenty times let sit over nite it should be good

Yes my vt passenger rear is doing the same but no wd40 is working was told to change the solinoid that will fix it is that true it does make sense if someone else has the some problem please let me know they fixed it thank you.

was just wondering if i take the lock retaining bolts out of the door will this give me enough room to lift the latch and get the little orange retainer out or?
