Thumbs up Pod filter modified into air box.

    Hey guys,
Lately i have been working on my in take for my Vt and have decided i am going to drill a 90mm hole in the side of the airbox and run pvc piping down to the grill near the number plate, but aswell as this i have seen people removing their panel filter and putting a POD filter in as shown in the pic. I dont want to go spending a hole lot of money on a filter so im just wondering how this one will go?

The PVC pipe is a good idea. I have a pod in my standard air box. I made 188rwkw on a very safe tune with my super 6 and just had a panel filter, haven't dyno'd it since but unless it's a super 6 the your going to go nuts on a good panel filter will do the best job.

i got the bend pipe out of the vn intake cut it to size. it fits in the vt airbox well then i sealed it around so no leaks. pod was 3.5 or 3. it fitted the vn intake.
