Default V* VT WAGEN )) Model

    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me at all i just seem to be having drama after drama with my VT V8 Wagen. It got towed 4 times last year with the same problem fuel pump that has been replaced 4 times witha new sender each time now the fuel gauge doesnt work after half a tank, it then went to the mechanics again as the check engine light was on and i have had to replace both oxygen senders, now to my dismay the engine coolant light is on. I filled it up Monday as the light came on and now thursday the light has come back on and it needs to be refilled, there seem to be no leaks??from what i can see on top and then on the ground. does that sound like a cracked head? i am hoping that its just a split hose, i feel like i have a lemon of the car cause its spent more time in the mechanics than me driving it :-(

4 fuel pumps seems a bit odd. It could be a wiring problem or bad connection in the plug. The fuel gauge is a problem that was supposed to be fixed with a recall years ago. The coolant leak could be the heater tap which is plastic and prone to cracking, or it could be a hose or water pump leaking.
If it has a cracked head or blown headgasket there will probably be coolant in your oil which will make it go a milky colour. Pull your dipstick out and have a look and also take your oil filler cap off and check inside the rocker cover for signs of water then put cap back on.
