Aircon/ climate switch problem...please help

OK guys its like this...bought a LED aircon/climate switch off ebay.(switch is fine)

HOWEVER, when i disconnected the last dial closest to steering wheel, with the rubber backing, back further towards the engine there was a hissing noise like air escaping from somewhere. now that switch or the old switch which was also working fine, is stuck on front demister. it wont change and both the knobs turn fine. anyone out there reckon they know what might have happened?

Any help or ideas would be great! cheers

You will have pulled a vacuum hose off from somewhere, possibly a the back of the vacuum switch, which is the one that selects the vent positions.

ok, doesnt sound tooo bad? how do i go about fixing this do you think? also all the hoses that join to the back of the switch didnt look like they had anything wrong with them...
