Show me your VT/X Dash Mods!

I have been kicking around ideas of different things to liven up my VT SS Dash for a while (dont we all?) and i wouldnt mind seeing what some of you guys have done.

I like the look of Dash/Vent mounted gauges (Smits C2R etc).

Im not looking to go wild but things like VY/Z gauge binnacles grafted to a T/X dash, those kind of things.

Yeah I'd like to see this too..... I was going to put a couple of guages where the VY/VZ ones go, I presumed They'd exist for the VT/VX, Personally I've never really liked custom dash mounted ones, They don't look "factory" and out of place..... I'd LOVE to see a guage binnacle for the VT/VX..

how hard are those dash mods to do anyways? .. do ya gotta take the whole dash out .. or just the fascia things clip off and be replaced?

i think the best dash mod u could eva do is the LED conversion haha check the asr section 4 best pics.

Yeah Im savin up for the LED conversion. They look so much better then the shitty standard green lights

Hey mate, there are 2 screws above the spedo and two in where the cigarette lighter is. undo the cigarette ones first and the whole bottom part will just unclip (don't be scared to pull it a little) and then at the bottom of the top piece there will be 2 more. undo them and the top will come out (after you undo all the cables and stuff of course :P hope this helps

i was wondering the same thing about the stereo, looks like alot of taping is required

by the way, Smit, yours looks awesome, but imho, would look even better painted bermuda blue and in my car haha

no tapin at all, 2 tiny screws on each side holding it on then it clips off
also all the buttons are jus clipped in

some guy on ebay changed his whole vuii maloo to vy interior... anyone know how hard this will be to do?
