Hey Everyone,

Im new to this forums but I am hoping may be able to offer some advice.

My mate gave me a set of Autotecnica Monza rally seats. I am wanting to put them in my VT but im not sure if it is worth it for starters. Has anyone got Monza seats? they are much more comfy than the standard ones I have at the moment though. But I am more worried about the engineering side of things.

This is the new seats rails they came with.



And these are the tracks from the standard seat.



As you can see the standard ones have that little lip/plate on the back which the new seat rails dont have as they are just flat rails. Has anyone put different seats into a VT and knows what I should do? or is it just that the rails on the new seat are not the correct ones for my model?

Here is a picture of the floor space, as you can see the rear bolt holes are not on top back on the back so the flat rails dont suit.


Also in the above picture you can see on the right hand side a wire. When this is disconnected the Airbag light on my dash comes on. Is there anyway I can take this wire out or shut it off as the new seat does not have and wires on it or do I have to transplant the wires from the old seat to the new seat?
