    Question Help! Coolant Loss

Ive been slowly losing coolant in my ls1 it has a new radiator all hoses seem tight it threw a fan belt last month and stupidly i drove it for 6 km or so till it heated up all the way till it beeped HOT! at me and pulled over for a tow truck. I dont think its a head gasket cos theres no coolant in my oil and no oil in my coolant, after i turn the engine off and listen it makes lots of gargeling and sucking noises and the top hose in the coolant reserve tank the other end isnt connected to anything just sitting in the engine bay is it meant to be like that? the coolant doesnt seem to be coming from that hose but its coming out the passanger side dont know whats wrong that dexcool sh1t is expensive if ill need to keep topping up.

Any advice on what could be wrong would be apreciated.

    Could Be:
    Radiator
    A Hose Leaking Under Pressure
    Water pump
    Heater Tap

Why did it throw the belt?

it was squeeling for a week after i got it mafless tuned with an otrcai then i started it 1 afternoon didnt even get to put it in D and i heard a thump of it flying off hittin the bonnet then i drove it 6km with no power steering with the belt off till it heated up so i got it towed took it back to where i got it tuned and they fixed it for 300 dollars for a new pulley and 25% underdrive belt i dont know why it flew off tho especially straight after turning it over

There hasnt been many ppl replying to this i guess either no one knows me well enuff to want to help me or its just that no one gives a flying f*ck.

Well im pretty sure its the plastic reservour tank thats got a crack in it near where it bolts too the chassis because when i stop the car the coolant level rises almost too the top of the tank 3 mins after stopping (usually after a long trip it seems) and it trickles out id guess no more than 1/4 of a litre each long trip short trips doesnt seem to do it at all at the moment my coolant is sitting 2 inches from the fill line and havnt topped it up and hasnt leaked out anymore, im between jobs at the moment so if it doesnt NEED fixing it isnt getting fixed =P
