mirror switch

Hi again my mirrors have just stuffed itself was working fine but now will only go out and down on one side and in and up on the other side{pas side} i think it might be the switch as checked fuses relalays ECT has this happened to any one here was it the switch?

Seems like it could be the switch but you would think it would work only up or only down if it was. Easiest thing to do would be to try a different switch if a friend has a VT/VX/VY/VZ you can borrow one from. If you need a spare switch I have one I can post.

same thing happened to mine, i just pulled it out then pulled it apart and cleaned the contacts with a bit of wd40 and its worked fine ever since, hope this helps

How did you get it out ?do you have to remove the door trim or can you pop it out with a screwdriver

thanks just poped it out but it looks like im going to have to remove the door trim as i cant pull the conector up high enough to detach it
