    Default ls1 intake pipes

does anyone know where i can get a decent intake pipe? (t/b to flow meter) i know i need a otr but my car is not maf less, and already has tune (225 rwkw) 4 into 1's cats exhaust, 2 hole mod, k&n.
the ss inductions pipe has warped due to engine heat and will not seal, theres aluminum and fiber glass pipes on ebay with pod and shroud, im looking at the aluminum one $250 anyone tried one of these? same as capas but theyre $330. i dont want the yella terra/ss inductions pipe, mabey a silicone elbow and off cut of steel or hsv pipe is my only option?

thanks mate, yeah it had a re-tune at g&d performance has very low ks and is a vx ss s2 auto good power for not many mods. ill proberly go with the hsv pipe, its exactly the same as ss inductions version, but better quality i hope! i like the look of the polished aluminum pipe, but looks narrow and has alot of bends, someone complained of droning noise at 100+ kph. pro flo offered me a black elbow and tube to t/b in 4'' for $200 (seems expensive). i even asked the exhaust bloke hes not interested. what 2 do? how many rwkw is your ride?

How are they compared to going mafless? I heard that it is illegal to run a car without a maf if it came with one, even if it has a mafless tune.

proberly true, removing the factory fitted sensor would change the emissions or some bull. i think the flow meter itself ristricts airflow. otr with maf, would that require a re tune for the extra air it would receive? as it was tuned with an air box thats fairly ristricted. id like to keep as original as possible,so you cant see i have a massive hole in front of airbox from induction mod. whats a good price for a stainless otr anyway?
