Got a 2002 vx acclaim. Ill give you a run down on what it has. Lowered with ssl king spring in the rear and sl in front. rolled rear guards, sitting on VE 18inch ss rims. 245's on rear and 235's on front. pacemaker extractors with a 2.5inch catback exhaust with high flow cats, drilled and slotted brakes.

Im happy with the visual look of my car but wanting to boost my engine performance. I have a small budget. What im after is a cold air intake first. What is included within this package? i have shopped around and ebay are selling them for around $350ish.

Whats the difference if i went to an auto retailer and bought a piece of silicone pipe, and added a few clamps and a POD filter to the end of the silicone pipe? is this possible? What are some other cheap mods that i could do to my engine in order to get some more power over of the old thing.

SOme advice on this pod filter and silicone piping would be great.
