how much do you espect to pay for a new key ?coded and ready to go holden said i have to bring in the car to get this done if ther is any one who has got this done please share your advise
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP
I bought one from a locksmith for $110 at a shoping centre. You have to program the key to your car first . If i remember correctly you have to sit in the car or do it with the window open . Manually lock the door , put the key in the ignition , leave it for 60 seconds then start the car and let it run for a couple of minutes . Turn it off and the new key is now programmed
there are three types of people in the world , those who can count and those who can't
i took my old key in and asked them to make me a new one as the original was getting a little "iffy". cost me $90 to get a new one made up for the VT.
Basically what Dayvo said. When you pick the key up, they will tell you what you need to do, but basically the same thing he said.
