I havent heard a system with it myself, but i bought a magnaflow muffer before i sold my vs with a 2.5inch catback on it, apparently it gives it a great deep note. I never got to put the muffler on though as i sold the car.

Geeze mate, $355 for a muffler, thats a bit pricey.

Extractors actualy do something, Muffles do just that, Muffle..............

Id personaly choose the extractors get the scavenging up where it needs to be first, then go the Muffler.......

Just me, If all you want is noise, go the muffler and keep the stock cast iron headers.

dude i know there is a huge difference between a 5L and a 3.8 for sound but man my cousin has a 99 vs stato 5 L and has extractors followed through with a 2.5 inch stainless steel system with 2 high flow cats and a magna flow muffler without the resinators at the back and mate it is by far the BEST Note from an exhaust company muffler ive ever herd.. I definitly think a magnaflow on even a 3.8 L cat back would sound choice!!
