Hi All,
Over the past two days when i have had the time i have been changing over my Radiator, the old one was leaking.
Everything seemed fine, put it all back together tonight, turned on the car and wouldn't you know it, one of the transmission lines was leaking!!
So i checked it, undid it, redid it and still the same, checked the threads, all fine...
Anyone know how to fix this little problem or what the hell could be causing it??
I fitted a transmission cooler recently and had the same problem at the top of the radiator.
You have to make sure the transmission connectors are done up really, REALLY tight.
I like my roo well done

For me its at the bottom, stupid things!!
It is really really tight, it wasn't the first time, then i did it tight, still leaked, then tightened again, still leaked, then undid it and tightened back up, still leaked!!!
Maybe whack some plumbing tape on the threads, should help seal it up... I had the same problem with mine when I replaced the the radiator and it seemed to work for me.

I'm just gunna throw it out there: Some sort of metal or rubber washer/o ring?
Power steering uses rubber o ring to seal it, oil plug uses metal washer, i was thinking something like that-
Try some thread sealant.

Okay so i tried Loctite on the bottom transmission line, no luck, so i siliconed it then to realize the top one is leaking, so i used Loctite on that and bob's your uncle!
Ran the car for about 30mins, no leaks, bit of smoke in the engine bay (hoping that is from the fact coolant went everywhere at one point), bled it and no air left in it, broke a battery terminal, thermal fans kicked in when they needed to apart from when air con was turned on, not sure if it should or not, i think they did before hand....
Also noticed there is a squeak from the fan belt, hope i didn't damage anything.... will see if it still happens tomorrow when i turn it on and go for a drive!
dont forget to top up your trans fluid mate
Everything done, took it for a drive this morning and no dramas at all!!!
Trans fluid still a bit low so gotta go and buy some more to top it up. The squeak from the fan belt is slowly diminishing so thats good too, maybe there was someone coolant or something on the belt making it slip a bit, hopefully it doesn't come back!!
having the same problem with my brothers VT wagon, replaced the radiator, did everything back up reeeeeeally tight ( years of working on commonwhore has taught me everything must be done up tight, or they leak ), started it up, and bang, bottom trans line leaking, chucked some gasket goo around the back of the nut ( VT unlike previous model commodores use a bolt and nut assembly not the hose and clamp assembly ) where it appeared to be leaking, let it dry over night, still leaked, covered the whole dam thing in it and let it dry for 2 days, still leaks ( although not as much now ), think i might rip it off again and chuck some loctite on and some plumbers tape for extra measure, hope that fixes the bastard, car has to be driven up to townsville in 2 weeks from brisbane lol
Thread tape.
