Headlights flash off when indicators turn off.

Hey guys,

Just bought myself a VT GTS and it is unreal, except for the problem.

When i have my headlights on and i turn an indicator on (left and right), the headlights will do a really quick flash off and on. only about a split second.

But when the indicator turns itself off, the headlights turn off for anywhere between a second to 5 seconds.

only the headlights do it, parkers and fog lights stay on.

Any ideas?? thanks for your help.

yea i had the same problem with my old vs, it will be the indicator stalk mate, there not expensive for a new one and are very easy to change

+1 for indicator stalk. my VT did the same, high beams would flick on when turning indicators on or off or you wiggled the stalk. drivers in front of me would think i was flashing them!

I fixed mine by opening it up, cleaning it really well specially the contacts then regreasing it, 5 months in and no worrys
