    Default VZ Monaro front end on a VT

    Hey guys,
    I've been searching for hours and i have learned that you can fit a VZ Monaro front end on a VT SS..
    I'm struggling to find anywhere selling them... I wont even bother with Holden, and there isn't much going on ebay.
    Also does anybody know where i can get info on wiring for the parkers/fog lamps etc.. I have attached a pic of someone elses car.. this is what im looking at.

    cheers guys, hopefully you can help me

    that is a pretty sweet idea you got there mate, usually it is best to get the looms from holden or ebay, as long as they are genuine, cause they are made to the same specs as the lights, im doing a conversion of a VZ SS front end onto my VT, and w/ the headlights i am going to have to fuse some wires together on the indicator stalk (unsure of which ones yet) because they are a more advanced headlight, it might be the same as the monaro headlights

    also people will be taking a double look at your car thinking is that a 4 door monaro??? just a little fact, one of the original designs for the vt monaro concept was to have the vt garnish on the back, interesting aye. well hopefully mine will be done soon, check out my ride thread. will be done soon, are you thinking of getting a new bonnet as well or just retaining the standard VT one?

    I do not know the finer details on the conversions, but I do know that it is quite simple to do. "A piece of cake" as quoted by my mate. I will put some pics below of my mates previous ride with the front end of a VT modified with Monaro parts, and the rear modified with VX parts.

    He now owns a new ride being a VZ Monaro 2004, and he will be modifying the it to be a 2005 Monaro front end which is slightly different with the park/fog light set up compared to the 04 Models.

    The silver front bumper from his 2004 Monaro will be for sale in the near future (just not yet) after he has done the swap, and it will include the headlights and all parts required to complete the simple conversion on a VT. Pricing is not known on how much he will sell the 04 Monaro front end as he is still chasing some parts to complete the swap to the 05 Monaro look at the front.

    His previous ride;

    His current ride;

    His future front end;

    I guess we all like to personalise our rides in little ways and sometimes big ways. Each to their own. It does look good now though. The later model Monaro front ends do look fantastic also.
