hi my 1997 vt commodore fuel light stays on never gos out car has full tank
half tank never gos out any help plz and just under half a tank most of the times it gos to

in the older commodors sometimes the flote would come of but if it was the flote in the tank i would expect your guage not to work ither might be worth changing the flote and see if that works, or ask an auto elec what he thinks it could be.
