VT brake warning light problem!

I have the brake warning light staying on and that annoying beeping happening would anyone know what it is?? The hand brake needs adjustment i know that much!

The light has always gone out when i take the hand break off up untill today!

Any help would be greatly appreciated
I have only just got the car a week ago and the Air bag light is also on.

Could be a faulty hand brake switch or something like a coin interfering with it. Pull the hand brake cover off and check it out.

I think it says in my cars manual that the light will stay on if there is also a failure of the brakes it's not just for the handbrake

Regarding air bag light
Went to auto elec and they deleted the error....
15 months later no air bag light

The break light has gone out on its own no idea why but so far so good! and i will get air bag checked by holden
